Matchali collaborates with esca to launch a handmade lava mooncake gift box, with four pieces per box (HK$360) in matcha almond and roasted tea sesame flavors. They are vegetarian-friendly and free from preservatives. Baked until slightly warm, when cut open, the filling flows out like lava, achieving a true lava effect!
Matcha flavor paired with almond, while roasted tea flavor has black sesame lava, both are very sweet and rich. There are also sets with matcha powder and tea tools (HK$680 – $880), which are very suitable for gifting, available for order on the official Matchali website.
As for the leading figure in the vegetarian world, Green Common, in addition to the vegan custard mooncakes launched every year, this year they have introduced a new vegan low-sugar green tea mooncake (HK$198/4 pieces) made with zero-calorie monk fruit extract, organic vegan butter, no added preservatives, and each mooncake is not more than 100 calories. It is full of green tea flavor but not overly sweet.
To respond to environmental protection, the gift box packaging also uses environmentally friendly paper and is printed with soy ink.
