西班牙艺术家August Vilella继2021年在JPS画廊举办个人展览”秋天的童话”后，今次他再次延续季节的主题，带来”夏日微风”展览，让笔下拥有标志性大眼睛的角色带我们遨游于超现实的冥想之中，一起感受梦幻的初夏意境！
August uses surrealistic self-consciousness in his paintings to create imaginative works, with every stroke guided by the subconscious. These creatures with sparkling eyes not only depict the artist’s inner world but also engage in a dialogue with the audience. The artist once said, “I didn’t deliberately choose my role, to some extent… they chose me.” They serve as a substitute for the artist in communicating with the audience.
与以往的忧郁深沉演绎不同，新系列展现出鲜明活泼的画风，通过角色们好奇的眼神映衬充满活力的夏日元素。艺术家在画布上细致地涂上一层又一层的油画颜料和清漆，配合纤薄而有层次的笔触，塑造出既华丽又生动的虚构景象，与毫无束缚的构思过程形成强烈对比。
