This auction will present over 1000 items, directly from the Playboy Headquarters and the Playboy Mansion, covering the legendary magazine founder’s collection from early life to the golden age of Playboy, as well as Marilyn Monroe’s personal items, including movie costumes, photos, manuscripts, and more. These treasures allow everyone to glimpse into the lives and times of these two legendary figures, especially in the 1950s to the early 1960s, when they rose to fame, greatly influencing American popular culture and each other’s careers. The Playboy Enterprise collection includes works by artists such as LeRoy Neiman, Andy Warhol, Alberto Vargas; in addition, there are architectural drawings from the 1950s Playboy Chicago headquarters, as well as exquisite furniture from the dining room and master bedroom of the Los Angeles mansion.
