Julien’s Auctions in Hollywood will auction off the precious collection of “Playboy” magazine and its founder Hugh Hefner and Marilyn Monroe from March 28th to 30th in Los Angeles. In order to give Asian audiences a sneak peek, over 50 exquisite items will be on display for free at the Hong Kong Fringe Club from January 27th to February 1st.
This auction will present over 1000 items, directly from the Playboy Headquarters and the Playboy Mansion, covering the founder’s early life to the golden age of Playboy, as well as Marilyn Monroe’s personal items, including movie costumes, photos, manuscripts, and more. The Playboy collection includes works by artists such as LeRoy Neiman, Andy Warhol, Alberto Vargas; in addition, there are architectural drawings from the 1950s Playboy Chicago headquarters, as well as exquisite furniture from the dining room and master bedroom of the Los Angeles mansion.
