The Hong Kong Print Workshop will celebrate its 25th anniversary with the “HKOP Contemporary Printmaking” fundraising exhibition!

Hong Kong Open Printshop (HKOP), which has been dedicated to conserving and promoting the local printmaking culture, will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year.

HKOP is Hong Kong’s first professional art organization founded and managed by printmakers, and is the largest professional printmaking institution in the region. Since 2000, it has been promoting and popularizing contemporary printmaking, facilitating international cultural exchange, enhancing artistic creation, and making significant contributions to the conservation and inheritance of local printmaking culture. It has also launched the Hong Kong Print Workshop Annual Award and the HKOP Fine Print Award, becoming a cradle for nurturing emerging printmaking artists.

However, as a platform that prioritizes experience, it has decided to integrate and expand its existing space into “HKOP Contemporary Printmaking.” Through the “Prologue: HKOP Contemporary Printmaking Fundraising Exhibition,” it will share the blueprint for future development with everyone, showcasing the works of seasoned artists and emerging artists to promote local creation and conserve printmaking culture.
