After waiting and waiting, the fifth park area “Valley of the Witch” at Ghibli Park in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, will officially open on the 16th of this month. Let’s first understand this new park area that you are looking forward to!
The “Witch Valley” area of Ghibli Park covers an area of 2.9 hectares, where you can find scenes inspired by “Kiki’s Delivery Service,” such as the house where the protagonist Kiki lives, with a garden full of flowers and plants in front of the house. In addition to Kiki’s room, there is also a witch’s shop, Kiki’s father’s study, and a bakery where Kiki and the black cat live in the park, decorated in a European style and selling a variety of bread inside!
“In the Valley of the Witch,” you can also find the castle from “Howl’s Moving Castle,” which is up to 16 meters tall. It “moves” and emits smoke every hour. Inside, there are scenes such as a living room, Howl’s bedroom, and a workspace, all realistic and detailed!
In addition, the park has also recreated the “Witch’s House” from “Kiki’s Delivery Service,” along with iconic spots such as the airplane tower, clock tower, and carousel. If you are planning to visit Japan, you definitely have to come and check it out!
