虽然Leica并非首次推出手表，早在2014年，品牌为庆祝百周年纪念曾与Valbray合作推出纪念版腕表，但这次终于以自家名义，推出两款配备注册专利的按压式表冠腕表Leica L1和Leica L2。
The appearance of the watch is designed by Professor Achim Heine, who has designed many Leica products and has a deep understanding of the brand’s aesthetic concept. The elegant time markers and dial scales of the watch, the carefully crafted stainless steel case, the special grooves on the crown, and the curved dial glass all evoke the brand’s lenses.
跟相机一样，品牌的腕表同样「德国制造」。Leica 跟当地制造商 Lehmann Präzision GmbH 合作研发和设计，机芯和腕表大部分零件均在德国黑森林地区的制造商垂直生产而成。
传统的表冠设计是拉出表冠让手表停止运行并调整时间，但 Leica 手表的表冠却像相机快门按钮一样，在按下表冠的瞬间令手表停止，秒针跳到零。当调校好时间后再次按下表冠，手表便会继续运作。
L1和L2两款腕表采用直径41毫米的精钢表壳，同样配搭手动上链机芯，设有中央时分、小秒针，日期显示；两者的区别是L2额外设有两地时间功能，比L1增加了GMT第二时区12小时表圈和昼夜显示。
