There are two major awards in the competition, the most coveted honor being the “Rolex China Sea Race Trophy” for the overall champion in corrected time under IRC; as for the first boat to cross the finish line (line honors), it will be awarded the “Sunday Telegraph Trophy”. The overall IRC champion and the individual boat line honors champion will receive a Rolex watch. Over the years, winning boats have included elites from Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Japan, and other Asia-Pacific countries, as well as competitors from Australia, the UK, and France who have traveled from afar to claim the trophy.
