Calling all taro lovers! A small shop called Yuko Tea House has been discovered in Cheung Sha Wan, specializing in pot-cooked milk tea made with Taiwanese tea leaves and 4.3 milk. What’s even more enticing is their taro paste, pork floss, and egg sandwich, which is explosively filled!
The hot and spicy sandwich is served immediately, but due to the small shop, patience is needed. A must-try is the mashed taro, pork floss, and egg sandwich for $42. The thick taro texture is real, with a hint of taro bits. The seasoning is light, allowing the natural taste of taro to blend well with the savory pork floss. The sandwich is toasted on both sides, with an egg added, making it quite filling when finished.
Another must-try for taro lovers is the Taro Fresh Milk with Taro Balls for $32. The handmade taro combined with rich fresh milk is already unbeatable, and adding chewy taro balls makes the overall texture even more satisfying.
The store actually has another specialty, which is boiled fresh milk tea starting at $22. It will only be cooked when ordered, and overall, their taro series is more recommended.
