su:m37˚ is South Korea’s first natural fermentation skincare brand, and Kowloon Shangri-La takes inspiration from its flagship product, the Luminous Gold Rejuvenating Essence, to create a variety of beautiful pastries for the “Luminous Gold Beauty Afternoon Tea” using ingredients such as buckwheat pancakes, sourdough bread, cheese, and French cream cheese that have undergone fermentation processes, paired with vegan chocolate, blood orange, cinnamon, and avocado jam to enhance texture and flavor layers.
In terms of savory options, there are Lemongrass Fresh Prawn Toast, Honey Roasted Duck with Cinnamon and Shiitake Mushrooms, Buckwheat Pancakes with Cilantro Sauce and Salmon Roe, Pan-Seared Scallops with Avocado Sauce and Sourdough Bread. For desserts, there’s Vegan Chocolate Mousse with Passion Fruit and Crispy Gold, Jasmine Profiteroles with Tongan Vanilla White Chocolate Cream, Baked Cheesecake with Yuzu and Candied Blueberries, French Cream Cheese Cake with Blood Orange Jelly and Chocolate Crispy Biscuit, and 8 exquisite pastries are even placed inside a golden flower birdcage, definitely a must-visit highlight!
The Kowloon Shangri-La’s “Golden Beauty Afternoon Tea” set also includes homemade baked English scones, a fresh seasonal fruit platter, and Shangri-La’s signature tea or selected coffee. If you want to have a drink with friends, you can also choose French Perrier-Jouët champagne!
