Milan Fashion Week: Bottega Veneta 2023 Autumn/Winter, the final chapter of the Italian trilogy.

Bottega Veneta, known for its low-key style, has invited BTS leader RM from South Korea to attend the 2023 Autumn/Winter fashion show. This is his first time attending a fashion show since his debut, causing a sensation both inside and outside the venue.

Bottega Veneta’s 2023 Autumn/Winter collection is the final chapter of the brand’s Italian trilogy. Creative Director Matthieu Blazy presents a total of 81 looks, starting from the streets and capturing various encounters and characters one may come across on the streets. These encounters can be from different roles and occasions, but the most important thing is the surprise they bring.

The series opens with a transparent pajama and home sock ensemble, as if just waking up. However, this seemingly simple style actually embodies the brand’s proudest craftsmanship. The home socks on the model’s feet are woven from leather. Following closely behind is a man wearing a leather striped pajama, as well as various characters from different backgrounds, including priests, financiers, sleepwalkers, and even homeless people. Each character can enjoy the joy, emotions, and fun brought by dressing up, gaining confidence and charm through clothing, and becoming the person they want to be.

This season focuses on the reconfiguration of craftsmanship and materials, becoming a new innovation. Lightweight and unrestricted fabrics are combined with sculptural cuts and exquisite craftsmanship, presenting jacquard embroidery and Intreccio weaving in a new form, creating layered scales and feathers. There are visually appealing feathers and fringe skirts, as well as neatly tailored jackets and coats. Finally, Matthieu Blazy concludes the show with the perfect punctuation, featuring leather vests and leather jeans from the first season.
