Like other high-end brands, Viktor & Rolf’s autumn/winter Haute Couture series has been affected by the pandemic and switched to releasing in the form of short films. However, the design geniuses Viktor & Rolf have found a way to break through the screen limitations and deliver a unique fashion show!
The series is themed “Change,” with short films featuring British singer Mika as the narrator, using humorous phrases to explain the design concepts of 9 new collections, guiding the audience through a Haute Couture fashion show that is still heartwarming, whimsical, and childlike.
The collection is divided into three parts, representing three different emotions, including: melancholy, complexity, and wonderful love, the design still carries Viktor & Rolf’s absurdity, exaggerated baroque style silhouettes, combined with fun and playful modern elements, even emoji patterns are added to the Haute Couture design, it seems that only Viktor & Rolf have this creativity and courage!
