Summer is the month when orchids bloom, and the lunar seventh month is known as “Orchid Month,” with the evening of Qixi Festival being called “Orchid Night.” Alexander McQueen presented a fashion film with the theme of “Orchid Night” this year on Qixi Festival, featuring Taiwanese heartthrob Yang Youning, embarking on a magical journey of a midsummer night with everyone.
Alexander McQueen’s Qixi fashion feature is themed “Orchid Night,” symbolizing the orchid of love as it glides through the night sky. The male and female protagonists wear the latest designs inspired by orchids, following the guidance of the orchids, immersing themselves in the dazzling and ever-changing dream of the Orchid Night, and interpreting the romantic story of the Orchid Night in the language of fashion.

In addition to fashion editorials, Alexander McQueen also launched a new Seal handbag on the occasion of Qixi Festival this year. The design incorporates curved and rounded contours, and is made of padded lambskin by hand. It is adorned with an enlarged seal logo and features a gold-tone metal seal buckle with hollowed-out detailing. Every detail, from the inside to the outside, is filled with intricacy and texture.
In addition, there is a special selection of men’s and women’s clothing, inspired by nature, continuing the brand’s interpretation and exploration of orchids. This includes items such as orchid print pilot jackets, hoodies, sweaters, shirt dresses, as well as the iconic Knuckle Satchel and Jewelled Hobo ring handbags, footwear, and sunglasses as accessories. It combines subversion and beauty, giving orchids an innovative artistic form.
