Every June is Pride Month, where rainbow flags are raised around the world to show support and recognition for the global LGBTQ+ community. Many brands also release fashion items with a Pride Month theme. This year, DIESEL has once again collaborated with the Tom of Finland Foundation to launch the 2023 “Pride Month” special edition AllTogether Clubhouse Pride limited series, embodying its brand philosophy and demonstrating its commitment to the global LGBTQIA community.

The limited edition collection focuses on the artists and their erotic and queer art works from the Tom of Finland Foundation, including Stanley Stellar, Michael Mitchel, and Tom of Finland. DIESEL x Tom of Finland Foundation, in collaboration with The Community, has selected a series of images that showcase the free-spiritedness of gay men in their connections, desires, and romantic moments. DIESEL applies these images in the form of prints and patchwork patterns to 17 gender-neutral pieces, including t-shirts, denim clothing, and backless triangle underwear. Each garment is adorned with a special canvas strap and printed with quotes from the artists.
Among them, Viktoria Raykova’s optical illusion close-ups and Stellar’s leather scene photos are printed on silk satin shirts and shorts; Stanley Stellar’s photographs of gay men taken in the West Village of New York City can be traced back to 1980 and are now printed on T-shirts, shirts, and denim clothing. Stellar’s famous photo of a gay couple is also printed on a pair of jeans; in the photo, they are wearing T-shirts with “His” and “His Also” printed on them.
DIESEL has teamed up with art collective The Community and the Tom of Finland Foundation to create the AllTogether Club project, which includes a joint exhibition and a series of events. The AllTogether Club is located in the West Village of New York City and is a historical center for the LGBTQIA cultural movement in the United States. The “AllTogether” art exhibition, which opened on the 21st, will run for 5 days and is the first public exhibition outside of Los Angeles to showcase the foundation’s permanent collection of erotic and queer art. Through multimedia, interviews, screenings, performances, and concerts, the exhibition aims to connect the past and present of queer culture in New York.
