每个人都有不同的面向，由模特儿入行的刘沛蘅（Hillary），甜美笑容一直是她的最大标记，近年努力转型，开始涉足电视剧、综艺节目，更凭主持综艺节目《胶战》成功入屋，观众都被她节目中“敢玩”不做作的真性情吸引。即将踏入32岁，与入行10多年前比较，Hillary依然是那位甜度满分，爱笑爱为身边人发放正能量的女生，但她眼中的自己“甜美只是其中一个概定形象”，坚持才是最好的形容词。
ZTYLEZ：Many viewers describe you as “sweet.” Do you feel like you’re being put in a box? What impression do you want to leave on the audience?
Hillary: I have a low sense of humor, so I often can’t help but laugh. If the audience categorizes me as “sweet,” that’s okay. I don’t feel limited by a label; it’s just a defined image, and it’s also a form of praise. I enjoy laughing and can infect the people around me, making them happy and sharing positive energy. In fact, I have many different aspects to me, but I just haven’t had the opportunity to show them to the audience yet. I hope that in the future, they will also see my “quirky” and playful side.
ZTYLEZ：What kind of person are you? Is there a difference between your appearance and your inner self?
Hillary: I am a typical Gemini. I often change my mind and sometimes I am not clear about what I want or what I want to do. Although I am slow to warm up, I like to play pranks on my friends. Among my group of friends, I consider myself a leader in creating a lively atmosphere. However, when I am with someone who has even more energy than me, like Ah Zheng, I become a listener.
ZTYLEZ : 如果用三个形容词来形容自己，会是什么？
Hillary：多愁善感，我容易笑，又容易喊，有时陪阿妈看剧，只看一集也可以完全代入，看到哭，而且一哭就会收不到声。坚持，当我钟意或认定一件事，一定会做得到才罢休。我入行已经超过十年，因为自己喜欢，所以才会一直坚持和尝试不同新事物，想有突破和成绩。正能量，我很容易感染身边的人，尤其将快乐带给他们，自己另一半是比较悲观，身边很多人认为谈恋爱之后，他变得更开心。
ZTYLEZ：From transitioning from a model to a host and actor, what was the biggest difficulty or challenge?
Hillary: For me, the most difficult part is presenting a natural side. In the past, the work of a model was mainly focused on photoshoots, but when filming a drama or hosting a show, there is already a script that predicts the direction of the story. However, I have to interpret it naturally. For example, if I have eaten a bowl of noodles before, I have to act as if I have never eaten them before. So I need to think quickly and say whatever comes to mind, but at the same time, I have to filter whether what I say is appropriate. The difficulty lies in being myself in front of the camera.
ZTYLEZ：了解到你一直在跟随老师上课学习表演，你最希望挑战什么角色？
Hillary：从模特儿转型，感觉自己就像一张白纸，所以觉得要去上课学习。但是跟随第一位导师时，我有点抗拒，因为第一堂课就要学习放下自己，感觉就像是要打破再去重新塑造新的自己一样，这个过程是痛苦的，会让我不停地否定自己，所以当时觉得无法适应。但是后来在机缘巧合下，我又去跟另一个老师上课，让我爱上了演戏，发现原来这是一件有趣的事情，有这么多可能性，让我决定想要朝这个方向发展，现在也在继续上课。现阶段我持有开放的态度，如果有机会的话，我最想尝试与自己有反差，或者现实生活中不会接触到的角色，比如精神病患者、长期被欺凌的人，或者学生。我刚入行时，曾经非常期待有机会拍摄校园青春剧，虽然现在年纪已经过了那个阶段，但我也在努力保养，希望保持年轻，因为演戏是不分年龄的。
ZTYLEZ：Do you have any specific partners you want to collaborate with?
Hillary: I hope to have the opportunity to collaborate with Sean Lau, he is my idol. When watching him act, it doesn’t feel like he’s acting, but rather living. This is exactly what I need to learn.
ZTYLEZ：Performing is also a kind of art. What is your definition of art?
Hillary: I believe that art cannot be separated from people. Whether it’s a good piece of work, a technique, or a craft, everything is connected to people. Artworks are a way to express emotions, and it’s difficult to define what is considered art. When a piece of work can resonate with you or align with your personal aesthetic, it can already be considered as art.
ZTYLEZ : 你即将迎接32岁，「3字头」对你来说是一个怎样的阶段？
Hillary：即将踏入30岁时，我曾经也有担心过，特别对女生来说，这个数字在演艺这一行感觉上已不算年轻，加上现在的网上言论又很刻薄，所以更加令我想转型，因为演戏从来都没有年龄限制，我会和自己说，不用理会自己几多岁，只要将角色演绎到位，令人信服就OK，我不介意年龄数字，而且会努力保养，希望令自己看起来更年轻，可以接拍更多不同角色。
