As early as March this year, Breguet launched the Marine Hora Mundi watch series, and the auction style designed for Only Watch 2023 also follows this theme. The dial is made up of overlapping discs of different materials, with a gold base plate as the first layer, adorned with hand-engraved floral patterns, presenting a wave-like decoration on the deep blue sunray dial.
The watch’s sapphire crystal dial is set with gold hour markers coated with luminescent material, and adorned with a navy blue lacquered engraving of a land map. This special edition watch is embellished with dazzling rose gold dots on the land surface, reminiscent of the reflection of light when the earth rotates.
In addition, the hour hand, minute hand, and hour markers are all covered with a red luminescent coating symbolizing the charity auction, and in tribute to the foundation, the word “Paris” on the dial is replaced with “Principality of Monaco” displayed in red.
