The US Open is one of the most exciting international sporting events, attracting a large number of passionate fans every year and highly anticipated by players and spectators. For over 40 years, Rolex has been committed to promoting the development of tennis and has served as an important partner in the tennis world. Since 2018, the brand has been the official timekeeper for the US Open.
The US Open is the final Grand Slam® tournament of the tennis season, witnessing the brilliant achievements of many Rolex ambassadors, including this year’s defending champion Iga Świątek returning to the New York court. In 2022, the 22-year-old Iga won the final in straight sets, capturing her first US Open championship in her professional career. Following her victory at the French Open in May this year, she will strive for her fifth Grand Slam trophy.

Carlos Alcaraz, also a spokesperson for Rolex, is determined to successfully defend his title. Last year, this 19-year-old Spanish player won the men’s singles title at the US Open, achieving his first Grand Slam championship of his career and becoming the youngest male singles world number one in history. He said, “I never thought I could make such a breakthrough at the age of 19. Everything happened too fast. Winning the championship is incredible to me, and it has always been my dream since I was young. The passionate support from the New York fans means a lot to me. I encountered many setbacks during the Grand Slam tournament, but the fans at the US Open always supported, trusted, and encouraged me. In the semifinals last year against Jannik Sinner, they supported me until the last moment, even until the match ended at 3 am.” In fact, Rolex maintains a significant partnership with tennis. This sport has a huge international influence, and new challenges, new stories, and new champions continue to write new glorious chapters in the history of tennis.
