Tiffany & Co. has brought many heavyweight collaboration series this year. As we enter the last month of the year, they announced the launch of a brand new Time for Speed mechanical clock series, with a design reminiscent of 1950s racing cars, paired with the brand’s iconic Tiffany Blue. Whether you are a racing enthusiast or a watch lover, it is believed that you would want to own and collect this.
The new Time for Speed mechanical watch is inspired by the brand’s tradition of handcrafted racing trophies and the exquisite Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship. It is cast in Tiffany Blue aluminum, with tires made of durable rubber and complemented by polished stainless steel spokes. The watch features a radiator-inspired T&CO letter embossed iron frame, and the driver’s seat has a helmet-shaped glass that clearly reveals the escapement fork and balance wheel. The dial is adorned with a striking number “5” as a tribute to the brand’s famous flagship store on Fifth Avenue. The time display is located inside the stainless steel bezel on the left side of the watch.
Time for Speed Mechanical Watch Series is available in a standard version and two limited editions. The limited edition watches, available worldwide, are set with 316 round brilliant-cut diamonds, totaling 19 carats. Each wheel is set with an independently registered, approximately 1-carat diamond in the center. The Japan limited edition is set with 192 round brilliant-cut diamonds, totaling over 9 carats, with each wheel’s axis surrounded by pave-set diamonds.
