How to blend elegance and masculine personality? CHANEL recently released the Monsieur. Superleggera Edition men’s watch, which, as its name suggests, combines the styles of Monsieur and J12 Superleggera, providing a perfect demonstration.
CHANEL launched the Superleggera sports watch in 2005, drawing inspiration from the lightweight materials and pioneering spirit of Italian racing, expressing a passion for sports. The first watch designed specifically for men, Monsieur, was introduced in 2016, featuring geometric shapes and minimalist graphic numerals as iconic elements, along with the lion emblem engraved on the dial and the brand’s proprietary Calibre 1 movement, exuding a distinguished masculine style.
Now, Monsieur. The Superleggera Edition men’s watch combines two classic watch designs, inheriting Monsieur’s elegant tradition while adding the personality elements of the J12 Superleggera. The new watch is made of high-tech aluminum alloy material with a sporty contour, equipped with a 42mm diameter matte black scratch-resistant ceramic case and a geometrically twisted dial with a black nickel finish, exuding an elegant yet avant-garde technological feel.
In addition to the main black color scheme, the watch also features a bright red Superleggera logo at the 12 o’clock position, complemented by a red 60 mark on the small seconds dial, a red instant jump hour hand, and a red calf leather accent on the back of the black nylon strap, adding many fashionable details to the design. Furthermore, the watch is equipped with a black Calibre 1 movement that can be admired through the transparent sapphire case back, combining style and functionality.
