Buccellati will hold an exhibition titled “Homage to the Prince of Goldsmiths, Reviving Classic Masterpieces”, leading viewers to explore the brand’s history and exquisite craftsmanship. This large-scale retrospective exhibition will be held from April 18th to June 18th at OFICINE 800 on the banks of the Giudecca Canal in Venice, and organized by Balich Wonder Studio, curated by Alba Cappellieri. The exhibition will review Buccellati’s masterpieces, delving into the timeless craftsmanship and precious essence of the brand.

The title “Prince of Goldsmiths” originates from the poet Gabriele D’Annunzio. As one of the most influential Italian poets and novelists of the 20th century, he referred to Mario Buccellati, the founder of the Buccellati brand, as the “Prince of Goldsmiths” in 1936, praising Mario’s exquisite craftsmanship. Since its establishment in 1919, Buccellati has been continuously exploring the precious value of “classic masterpieces” and interpreting the eternal beauty and timeless essence of the brand with ingenuity and craftsmanship.

This exhibition is themed “Reviving Classic Masterpieces” and is divided into four main areas: Generational Heritage, Fine Jewelry, Extraordinary Silverware, and Classic Collections. The exhibits include the renowned Macri series known for its unique carving craftsmanship – from the initial designs by founder Mario, to a wide range of bracelets reinterpreted by current Creative Director Andrea; in addition, the new Tulle pendant from Andrea’s Mosaico high jewelry collection, as well as silverware pieces inspired by nature and flora and fauna, will also be on display. The exhibition will also review various important milestones in the brand’s history.
