Tiffany & Co. launches its Blue Book high jewelry collection every year. Recently, they brought their annual masterpiece, “Out of the Blue,” which features a collection of rare “deep-sea treasures,” to Hong Kong for an exhibition. They also invited the famous Japanese actress and brand ambassador, Ayaka Miyoshi, to attend the event and showcase the dazzling jewelry masterpieces.
The design inspiration for the Out of the Blue high jewelry collection comes from the legendary designer Jean Schlumberger’s naturalistic historical works created for the brand. It is the first high jewelry collection launched by Nathalie Verdeille, the current Jewelry and High Jewelry Artistic Director, who uses magnificent colored gemstones and intricate jewelry craftsmanship to showcase the myriad wonders of marine life.
Each masterpiece in the series is an embodiment of abstract geometric aesthetics, consisting of 8 themes: Shell, Coral, Pisces, Jellyfish, Starfish, Sea Star, Star Urchin, and the new theme Sea Anemone. Through exquisite craftsmanship and innovative design, it continues and reshapes Jean Schlumberger’s dream of the ocean world.
