Created by Gabrielle Chanel, the CHANEL N°5 perfume celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. For the first time, the brand takes inspiration from N°5 to introduce the N°5 high jewelry collection, paying tribute to this legendary fragrance. From the design of the bottle to the scent inside, every detail is transformed into dazzling and luxurious jewelry.
The N°5 perfume, full of femininity, caused a great sensation when it was launched in 1921. Mademoiselle Chanel herself introduced the Bijoux de Diamants jewelry collection in 1932. This year, Patrice Leguéreau combines the charm of fragrance and jewelry, launching the N°5 high jewelry collection, reproducing Mademoiselle Chanel’s bold creativity in the N°5 high jewelry collection.
In the series of long necklaces, brooches, and earrings, you can find the geometric bottle silhouette. The N°5 Abstraction necklace in the series showcases yellow diamonds set in a gradient of colors from dark to light, interpreting the lines of the bottle, and symbolizing the flowing N°5 perfume with pear-shaped cut diamonds and morganite cascading down.
The N°5 perfume rectangular bottle cap with beveled edges is interpreted in the N°5 high jewelry collection with crystals, diamonds, agate, pearls, or yellow sapphires, such as the Diamond Stopper ring set with a delicate 5.21-carat diamond, noble and magnificent.
As for the equally iconic number “5” motif, it is incorporated into a variety of jewelry pieces in a lively and versatile way. For example, the XL version of the number “5” injects vitality into the Eternal N°5 necklace, combining round, pear-shaped, marquise, and oval-cut diamonds with an ultimate modern design, showcasing the dazzling brilliance of diamonds. The number “5” embellishment can also be detached as a brooch, or the necklace can be converted into a short necklace for wearing.
The aromatic flowers in N°5 perfume are transformed into a colorful series of jewelry pieces, such as the Absolu N°5 diamond brooch featuring an asymmetric bouquet of jasmine, paired with roses and ylang-ylang adorned with numerous diamonds.
