Kiehl’s Every year, the flagship product Ultra Facial Cream will launch a charity limited edition. In 2022, the brand surprisingly collaborated with two members of the local popular male group Mirror, AK member Jiang Yusheng and Ah Jer Liu Yingting, to launch 4 limited edition Ultra Facial Creams that must be grabbed by Mirror fans, raising funds for the local environmental organization EcoDrive Hong Kong!
Although the 4 limited edition Ultra Facial Creams were not personally designed by AK and Ah Jer, they were designed by their fans, incorporating elements that best represent the idols into the packaging design, used for both the 50ml and 125ml products. The net proceeds from the limited edition Ultra Facial Cream will be donated to EcoDrive Hong Kong to support their environmental message promotion work.
The two styles designed by AK’s fans (AK) are completely different. The design for the 50ml product uses black as the main color tone that best represents AK, along with a guitar pattern, outlining the connection between AK and music. The design for the 125ml product combines elements from “Black Breath”, Kiehl’s iconic character Mr. Bones, and AK’s beloved cat, with a stylish dual-color design. As for AJ’s fans, they take inspiration from the idol’s songs, incorporating elements of water, light, and stars, along with a jellyfish representing “Liu Liu Fans”, symbolizing the idea that whether it’s the ocean or the galaxy, fans will always be together in mind.
4 limited edition charity “Ultra Facial Creams” will be available for sale from January 15th to 18th at the “Camp Kiehl’s” pop-up store at Harbour City Ocean Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui, as well as the brand’s e-shop. They will be available in stores on January 19th. In addition to registering to check in at the pop-up store, fans should also support this meaningful product and support environmental protection efforts.
