YSL Beauty’s first release of 2022, Rouge Volupte Candy Glaze, has revamped the iconic “silver dollar tube” Rouge Volupte with a new look and lipstick formula. Retaining the silver mirrored cylindrical tube design of Rouge Volupte, the YSL Logo on the lipstick packaging has been redesigned horizontally, bringing a fresh new feel.
Of course, the biggest selling point of the new product is the change in formula. Inspired by the crystal clear colors of fruit juice candy, Rouge Volupte Candy Glaze adds Double Care Balm for double repair and color enhancement. With various natural ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, cold-pressed mango oil, and antioxidant pomegranate essence, the lipstick has a moisturizing effect like lip balm and a comfortable texture that melts on contact.
Although the main focus is on moisturizing and shine, the color payoff has not been compromised. The multiple shimmering compounds make the lipstick color brighter and more saturated, creating a new product that truly balances the advantages of lip balm and lipstick.
