Unconsciously arrived in mid-October, major beauty brands are eager to release holiday makeup collections for everyone to get their hands on first, preparing early for Christmas! CHANEL also brings a new version of N°5 perfume and makeup collection for this holiday season, and for the first time this year, they have launched a Christmas countdown calendar, filled with a variety of brand’s signature products, attracting everyone’s attention with the design of a century-old perfume!
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of N°5 perfume. CHANEL has specially created a unique new version of N°5 Eau de Parfum to coincide with the holiday season. In addition to retaining its dazzling and pure design, it is the first time that recycled glass has been used to make the perfume bottle. The design of the packaging box complements the sharp lines of the perfume bottle and is made of biodegradable pulp, giving it a delicate touch. The label of the new work is embossed with the lucky number “5” in gold for Chanel women, while N°5 L’Eau reinterpreted by CHANEL perfumer Olivier Polge has a silver “5” embossed on the label.
CHANEL also brings the 2021 ml N°5 Grand Extrait Baccarat perfume, the largest capacity N°5 from the brand to date! This “giant perfume” is hand-filled and numbered, with only 55 bottles available. It is housed in a golden Baccarat crystal perfume bottle, cut with a unique craftsmanship that sparkles like a diamond. It comes with an elegant white gift box and includes a Baccarat crystal wand for applying the perfume to the earlobes, neck, and wrists.
N°5 perfume also inspired the CHANEL 2021 holiday makeup collection, with key products including the limited edition Les 4 Ombres four-color eyeshadow palette featuring shades inspired by the N°5 perfume. Each eyeshadow is also embossed with decorative elements of N°5, and the satin amber yellow of the perfume, as well as the pearly ivory shade of N°5 L’EAU, can be used individually or mixed to create a deep layered eye makeup look. The CHANEL Ombre Première Laque Glitter long-lasting eyeshadow liquid also introduces a glitter version for two of the shades, creating a sparkling makeup look.
The Rouge Allure lipstick series has been updated with a new packaging featuring a gold “5” imprint, including two new shades: the vibrant “Emblématique” and the brownish pomegranate red “Légendaire”, adding a festive touch. The collection also introduces the new shade Or Beige, a light golden beige Baume Essentiel highlighting cream for delicate contours, and the addition of the deep red shade “Rouge Intemporel” to the Le Vernis nail polish line for glossy nails.
Finally, there is the most anticipated Christmas countdown calendar for girls! Inside the giant N°5 perfume bottle-shaped calendar are 27 small boxes marked from “5” to “31”, with the former representing perfume and the latter symbolizing 31 Rue Cambon. The boxes contain a variety of CHANEL classic products, such as Rouge Allure sparkling lipsticks, Le Vernis nail polish, N°5 Eau de Parfum perfume, as well as accessories adorned with the number “5”, snow globes, and N°5 perfume accessories hidden in this countdown calendar, revealing surprises for everyone.
The CHANEL holiday makeup collection, the new version of N°5 Eau de Parfum, and N°5 L’Eau perfume will be available in stores starting tomorrow (October 16), while the Christmas countdown calendar will go on sale from November 1. Don’t miss out if you’re planning to get them.
