Jo Malone London, always hailed as the mysterious “black bottle” in the fragrance world, has added a new member to its rich cologne series this year! Drawing inspiration from traditional and mysterious ancient rituals from around the world, it has become one of the must-have high-quality perfumes for fragrance enthusiasts for life! This year, the series introduces a new fragrance: Red Hibiscus, a bold and passionate sensory sweetness, paired with a low-key and elegant bottle in gorgeous gemstone colors, making one feel like they are exploring a tropical jungle, irresistible!
This year, the brand specially invited three renowned Asian artists to interpret three beloved fragrances in unique ways through three completely different art media: using captivating digital art installations to play the fearless innovation of cedar and grapevine; leading a spiritual journey of self-exploration for black amber and wild ginger flower through fluid and sensual dance movements; and depicting the bold and passionate vitality of the new red hibiscus flower with vivid and unrestrained oil painting strokes.
Cypress & Grapevine – Courage
The adventurous spirit of Hong Kong digital artist Henry Chu is inspired by the fearless essence of cypress and grapevine fragrant cologne, sparking infinite inspiration. The mysterious and elegant woody scent perfectly aligns with Henry’s love for exploring forests around the world. The immersive interactive digital installation art “Under Cypress” recreates the lush scenery of the city, with a floor covered in verdant cypress leaves, complemented by LED images of a lush cypress forest, and a rock piano sculpture in the foreground playing captivating algorithmic melodies, leading you to feel as if you are instantly immersed in the verdant greenery, away from all the hustle and bustle of city life.
“The essence of this emerald green inspired me to reinterpret nature in the urban world through digital art. My senses were unleashed, revealing fearless exploration and bold innovation.”

Dark Amber & Ginger Lily – Self Exploration
The rich and unique charm of Black Amber and Wild Ginger Blossom Eau de Cologne is sensual, deep, and captivating, as if it were a wisp of mist in a sacred Japanese incense ceremony, with a lingering scent of calm incense smoke, evoking strong memories for New Zealand dancer Reina Sawai, who once trained in Japan. It awakens her soul’s love for creation and self-exploration. The enticing and unique fragrance sparks inspiration for her choreography, awakening the audience’s senses through sensual, fluid, and emotionally charged dance.
“The dark and sensual scent ripples through my body, awakening my roots, and invoking a journey of self-exploration through dance.”
Red Hibiscus – Vitality
Marianne Dami Kim, born in Los Angeles, has always been dedicated to expressing her passionate inner world through art. The exquisite exotic floral fragrance of the red frangipani perfume is warm, rich, emotional, and full of vitality, inspiring Marianne’s artistic muse. The tropical forest scent and sunny floral notes awaken Marianne, with the lush tropical jungle landscape and vibrant colors leaving a deep impression on her, all reflected in her bold, eye-catching oil paintings. The bright red petals of the rare red frangipani flower shine brightly, becoming the focal point of the artwork, blooming with infinite passion and vitality amidst the vast mottled shades of green, contrasting sharply with the bold brushstrokes imitating the bright golden and fiery orange colors of the island sun.
“I am attracted by the vivid and lively essence of this fragrance, evoking endless associations. It blends classic and forward-looking elements, full of vitality, adding a unique style.”
