Following the launch of “L’Eau Papier” fragrance in March, Diptyque brings two new eau de toilette fragrances this early summer. Inspired by the “Orient” where the three founders of the brand often venture to seek scents, these fragrances capture unforgettable memories and are highly collectible. Get your hands on them and experience the unique aura of mythology!
The newly launched Eau Nabati (Water of Paradise) comes from a dreamy garden, a oasis that transcends time and space. Inspired by the embrace of green plants, it is infused with the refreshing scents of bergamot and bitter orange, as if being on a small island. It blends everlasting flowers with amber fragrance, evoking the hot sand and Peruvian balsam, creating a contrasting and rich olfactory experience of cold and hot. Don’t miss it if you love mystery!
The garden perfectly combines art, plants, and architecture, and is a paradise beloved by the three travel enthusiasts and founders of Diptyque, Desmond Knox-Leet, Christiane Montadre-Gautrot, and Yves. They enjoy leisurely strolls and daydreaming in the lush and tranquil garden. Therefore, Diptyque decided to pay tribute to the three founders with their new creation, “Eau Nabati,” which represents their source of happiness!
The packaging of the bottle invited French artist Koralie to design it, taking inspiration from the symmetrical landscapes of the natural world. The bottle is transformed into a dreamy garden for Eau Nabati, depicting a secluded path leading to the dreamy garden. On two exquisite gold-plated oval logos, landscape patterns are embellished, allowing the reflection of light to reveal the exterior and interior of the garden, perfectly showcasing this contrasting yet harmonious beauty.
Simultaneously launched, Eau Rihla (Travelogue) Eau de Parfum captures the essence of an unknown adventure, transforming fragrance into a long-lasting travel diary, drawing inspiration from the Arabic word “Rihla” meaning journey. The fragrance envelops with an intoxicating leather accord, combining the vibrant notes of pink pepper with Anatolian cedar, iris, vanilla, and saffron, creating a harmonious scent that feels like a second layer of soft and comfortable skin, bringing olfactory surprises and evoking memories of exotic and wonderful journeys.
The central oval of the bottle also adopts a matte gold design, full of details and texture. Eau Rihla is inspired by the adventures and Ibn Battuta’s journey of the three founders of Diptyque, Desmond, Yves, and Christiane, perfectly capturing the natural scenery of this expedition. The bottle is infused with elements such as camels, ancient ruins, desert trails, date palm oases, stars, and falcons, along with the traces of people walking through the fine sand, just like the traces left by the perfume on the skin.
