来自纽约的黑人艺术家Alexandria Smith，首次在亚洲举办个展，在高古轩香港展出名为「糅合形态各异的绽放」的展览，带来一系列艺术家的全新组合油画和拼贴画作，呈现艺术家对自我与身份的探索。

The new works revolve around symbols of origin, light, and growth, inspired by her love for autobiography, novels, and collective memories. She has created various hybrid forms of creatures, which have different colors, ambiguous genders, and emphasize features such as eyes, limbs, nipples, knees, and nails. These creatures stretch, split, and reproduce, embodying the painter’s use of different elements as metaphors for physical, mental, and spiritual growth.
The exhibition takes viewers into a fascinating and ever-changing universe, exploring themes of origin, light, and growth through Alexandria’s unique artistic style and imagery. The works in the exhibition echo various forms and transformations of life, sparking contemplation on physical, mental, and spiritual growth.
