Alexandria creates a series of boldly colored oil paintings based on her exploratory drawings, using specially framed paper works. These paintings incorporate painted wooden shapes and raised elements that extend beyond the frame, resulting in a unique visual effect.

The new works revolve around symbols of origin, light, and growth, inspired by her love for autobiography, novels, and collective memories. She creates various hybrid forms of creatures that have different colors, gender ambiguity, and emphasize features such as eyes, limbs, nipples, knees, and nails. These creatures stretch, split, and reproduce, embodying the painter’s use of different elements as metaphors for physical, mental, and spiritual growth.
