agnès b. held its first “agnès b. Coffee Festival” last month, introducing new coffee and food options, as well as hosting art and sustainable development workshops, with the aim of expanding public understanding and integration of coffee, art, and environmental protection. In August, the brand invited Hong Kong artist Max Chan to collaborate on the “agnès b. x Max Chan ‘By Blueprint Feather.Art Exhibition'”.
This exhibition uses coffee and sustainable blue sun art as creative mediums, presenting a series of works inspired by flowers and the sentiment of Hong Kong, showcasing the multiple charms and imagination of coffee. The exhibition also features outstanding works by participants of the art workshop held during the coffee festival, making this exhibition not only colorful but also promoting the concept of sustainable development.

The exhibition, titled “Blue Feather Blueprint,” showcases nearly twenty cyanotype works created by Chen Zelei. The works are divided into four themes: “Flower Market,” “On/Off,” “Flight Mode,” and “Lei Yue Mun.” Some of the works also incorporate coffee to create a nostalgic effect. Through these “Hong Kong blueprints,” the artworks become precious “phrases” that tell the history of Hong Kong. Chen Zelei has also written explanations for each piece, and viewers can simply scan the QR code below each artwork to learn the stories behind them.
