The main feature of “Thought Rebirth Body” is the combination of Song and Hei styles. When the upright and steady Song style meets the graceful and lively Hei style, it is like a combination of seriousness and playfulness, tradition and innovation. The font draws on the texture of both styles, showcasing the charm of blending old and new. In addition, the font demonstrates a compatible personality of “firmness with softness,” adjusting the center of gravity of the characters to a slightly narrow top and thick bottom trapezoid shape, and imitating the strokes of a brush. For characters containing “田” and “口,” the strokes will end with rounded curves, gentle yet powerful.
During the creative process, Roy constantly revisited the style of the font.
