Loewe, led by Creative Director Jonathan Anderson, constantly introduces bold and innovative designs. The Spring/Summer 2024 menswear collection presents a study on perspectives, exploring how perspectives influence our senses and perception of proportions, resulting in unique line contours.
The fashion show showcased American artist Lynda Benglis’ giant fountain sculpture installation, and the audience on-site viewed the fashion runway from a wide angle, feeling the grandeur of the venue design. The creative concept that challenges traditional sculpture art forms also echoes the new season’s fashion design.
The biggest feature of this season’s silhouette is the deliberately raised waistline, with the models wearing new slim high-waisted outfits, highlighting long legs and a solid chest.
As for essential items for men, such as suits, overcoats, striped shirts, knitted polos, two-piece suits, diamond pattern knits, jeans, and chino twill trousers, they are adorned with crystal-like details that resemble filters, showcasing ingenuity and stunning effects.
Of course, Jonathan Anderson’s creativity is not limited to this. On the runway, there is also a backless top that appears to be made of oversized fabric with a safety pin attached. In addition, there are ingenious cuts that transform the body into a marvelous structure, with the shoes seemingly connected to the pants, giving the impression that the clothes are emerging from the ground.
