Besides being busy searching for Christmas gifts and food recently, if you are quietly planning your holiday programs, of course, you should also include various Christmas activities in your itinerary! In addition to taking photos with the holiday decorations and outdoor lights of major shopping malls, you may also want to bookmark a few special holiday events below!
//Winter Wonderland//
Although this Christmas holiday season we still can’t travel abroad, we can still experience the festive atmosphere of Europe even by staying in Hong Kong, such as visiting the “Winter Wonderland” held at the AsiaWorld-Expo! Designed based on a European Christmas village, this event combines leisure, entertainment, photo opportunities, shopping, dining, and performances all in one place. Visitors will even enter the venue through a passageway resembling a boarding gate at an airport, fulfilling their wish for a “Christmas getaway”!
In the center of the venue, there is a 7-meter tall Christmas tree for everyone to take photos with. Inside the venue, several colorful European-style rustic wooden houses are set up to create a Christmas shopping village, with 60 Christmas market stalls where you can taste Lindt’s limited edition chocolates, a variety of coffee flavors from Lavazza’s first limited-time store in Hong Kong, as well as purchase LUSH’s bath products, Winter Wonderland’s limited edition Christmas gift boxes, and more. There are also tarot card reading and tea leaf reading booths, as well as experiential workshops for making various holiday crafts.
Winter Wonderland also features multiple themed activities and experience areas, such as the “Glacier Ice House” where you can enjoy cocktails in an ice house-like setting, visit the immersive interactive art experience area themed around the aurora borealis called “House of Light by XCEPT,” as well as the London-authorized “MR. MEN LITTLE MISS X’mas Maze,” the 30-meter-long “Joy & Jump Castle,” the “Santa Claus Post Office” welcomed by Christmas elves, and daily exciting stage performances, all filled with festive atmosphere!
