When traveling to Japan, a visit to teamLab is a must. The first permanent teamLab museum in Naha, Okinawa, “Future Amusement Park,” which recently opened, is definitely a must-visit spot!
The highlight of the light and shadow art installation includes “Graffiti Nature in the Drumming Valley”, which consists of a dynamic valley formed by three-dimensional terrain. Through visual effects, a wriggling state is brought out. Visitors can draw organisms on paper, and the depicted organisms will “move” in the uneven valley. Flowers will also bloom where visitors stop.
In another work, “Animals Living with Flowers II,” the flowers will continuously bloom and wither, shaping the form of animals. When people touch the flowers, they will wither and fall, and with continued touching, the animals will also disappear.
