The latest film directed by Oscar-nominated director Greta Gerwig, known for “Little Women” and “Lady Bird,” titled “Barbie” live-action movie, has released new character posters and a trailer, and will be released in July this year! “Birds of Prey” star Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will respectively play Barbie and Ken, making it one of the most anticipated and exciting films of the year!
“Barbie” is a nostalgic memory for many girls. It is portrayed by Academy Award-nominated actress Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling respectively as Barbie and Ken. They are joined by a star-studded cast including Katy McLean, Michael Shna, Will Farlow, Emma Mackey, Liu Simu, Sharon Langni, and Helen Mirren. Singer Dua Lipa also makes a surprise appearance. Liu Simu, who is involved in the film “Shang-Chi,” describes “Barbie” as incredibly unique and reveals that although the film is not a musical, they have been rehearsing dances for it, describing it as quite “wild” and “crazy.”

The trailer for “Barbie” does not reveal the plot of the movie. The story follows a Barbie who lives in Barbie Land and is expelled from the land because she is not perfect enough. She then enters the real world, faces different challenges, and discovers her own uniqueness. Margot Robbie, with her playful and retro hairstyle, looks stunning in the film. The visuals are vibrant, taking you into an extraordinary and colorful dreamland with a high level of authenticity!
Did anyone notice the “black and white striped swimsuit” worn by Margot Robbie at the beginning of the trailer? That swimsuit was actually one of the outfits from the first collection of Barbie dolls launched in 1959. It holds a special meaning!
