今年 Watches and Wonders 上，瑞士先锋制表品牌 TAG Heuer 合共带来了 6 款新作，其中最为惊喜的一款必定要数到品牌为标志性时计 TAG Heuer Monaco 再一次更新了 Gulf 涂装，再度回味这个多年的经典设计。事隔超过三个月后，TAG Heuer 再度为一众收藏家带来惊喜，推出全新 TAG Heuer Monaco Purple Dial 限量版腕表。
自 1969 年面世以來，作為 TAG Heuer 最具代表性的時計，Monaco 的方形錶框在面世時可謂顛覆了傳統腕錶的設計常規，直到近代品牌更將其原作藍色錶面進行了多番換裝，令有著超過半世紀歷史的 Monaco 獲得更現代化的面貌。
This time, the new release features a never-before-seen Purple Dial design from the brand, continuing to retain the square 39mm stainless steel case with polished and satin-brushed finishes. The purple tones on the dial present a smoky radial effect, transitioning from light purple in the center to a deep purple at the permeating edges, adding an elegant and profound sense of depth to the watch. In terms of details, the rhodium-plated scales and hands are coated with white Super-LumiNova® luminescent paint, while the two chronograph counters at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock are made of black onyx, enhancing the texture of the watch face.
在机芯方面，延续今年在Watches and Wonders上推出的Gulf Monaco，全新登场的Purple Dial款式也将搭载TAG Heuer自制机芯Calibre Heuer 02，提供多达80小时的非凡动力储存，蓝宝石水晶玻璃表镜下更清晰可见机芯的结构，特制摆陀、导柱轮及以紫色铭刻上的字样等。为呼应腕表的全新换装，品牌特意为表带配上紫色衬里，更添特别心思。
关于摩纳哥的表盘设计，实际上早期的摩纳哥手表已经进行过不同的调整，甚至可以追溯到1969年的Ref. 1113B到Ref. 1533 Calibre 15的时期。前者是摩纳哥系列面世不久后推出的Chronomatic版本，而后者一般被俗称为过渡期创作，即是腕表代表人物、60年代好莱坞巨星史蒂夫·麦奎因所戴的一款，后来该型号也被一众藏家称之为麦奎因摩纳哥。这些手表呈现不同表盘设计效果，在黄铜表盘板涂上金属蓝色，随着表盘日氧化会蜕变出一种特别的紫调，恰好与今回新作的用色相若。
TAG Heuer Monaco紫色錶盤目前已在各大TAG Heuer專賣店、官方網站和指定合作零售商發售。不過，這次推出的是限量版款式，全球僅限量500枚，而錶背也刻有獨有編號「XXX/500」。有興趣的錶迷、藏家們，切勿錯過。
