Jay Fung interprets Zenith’s first DEFY Skyline white ceramic watch.

by

A refreshing summer day is incomplete without the backdrop of blue skies and white clouds, just like the latest release of the DEFY Skyline Skeleton white ceramic skeleton watch. The blue skeleton movement and dial, paired with an integrated white ceramic bracelet, seamlessly blend with the contours, matte, and polished finishes of the case. The summer vacation atmosphere is in full swing. Zenith brand ambassador Jay Fung once again interprets the brand’s latest masterpiece.

The Zenith DEFY Skyline chronograph watch not only embodies architectural beauty but also features the brand’s revolutionary El Primero 3600 high-frequency automatic movement, providing precise 1/10-second timing function, designed for busy urbanites of the new generation. The DEFY Skyline series was well received by the younger generation upon its launch, and this year’s new DEFY Skyline chronograph watch draws inspiration from the early DEFY series with its multi-faceted bezel and octagonal case design, reinterpreted in a modern way. The addition of a chronograph function further enhances the perfection of the DEFY series.

DEFY Skyline Skeleton white ceramic watch is designed to be versatile, with a bright white patterned rubber strap that complements the ceramic. It can be easily replaced without any tools thanks to the clever strap quick change system on the case. The new DEFY Skyline chronograph watch in 42mm features a durable stainless steel case, precise chronograph function, and the El Primero 3600 movement accurate to 1/10th of a second.

In addition to the white and blue colors on Jay’s wrist, the watch also comes in metallic black or silver for selection, paired with the series’ unique starry dial pattern, engraved with a four-pointed star, featuring the traditional El Primero dial layout. Three slightly larger and overlapping chronograph subdials display timing seconds and minutes, as well as continuous running seconds. The date window matches the dial color and is located at 4:30, another hallmark of El Primero. The outer edge with 1/10 second scale has 12 facets, forming a dodecagon bezel shape, which is an extension of the hour markers.
