Zenith elevates the DEFY Skyline watch series with high-frequency tourbillon technology.

by

Zenith Watch Factory has equipped the DEFY Skyline Tourbillon wristwatch with a brand new automatic high-frequency tourbillon movement, and has introduced two styles in stainless steel and black ceramic. The tourbillon device has always been inseparable from high-end watchmaking, proving the brand’s and watchmakers’ exquisite craftsmanship. The Zenith tourbillon gives the brand a modern style, not only showcasing the brand’s expertise in various movement types and functions on the new wristwatch, but also presenting a fresh design for the DEFY series. Like all El Primero movements, the movement of the DEFY Skyline Tourbillon wristwatch operates at a high frequency of 5 Hz (vibrating 36,000 times per hour), maintaining outstanding timing performance and top-notch shock resistance.

The 41mm case profile of the DEFY Skyline Tourbillon watch is sharp and geometric, paired with a matching stainless steel or black ceramic bracelet, combining the architectural design of the DEFY Skyline series with the mechanical dynamics of the tourbillon device. The central kinetic element of the DEFY Skyline watch is visible through a window at the bottom of the dial, resembling the center of a galaxy, surrounded by countless stars. The tourbillon framework is fixed on finely polished, sharp-angled bridges, with futuristic lines that are consistent with other DEFY watches equipped with a tourbillon device. The tourbillon rotates continuously around its axis, completing a full rotation every 60 seconds. With a water resistance of 100 meters, the watch showcases its all-weather durability.

DEFY Skyline Tourbillon unique, engraved with a starry sky pattern, the sunray metal dial has been modified to highlight the high-frequency tourbillon. Whether it is a blue stainless steel model or a black ceramic model, the mosaic of four-pointed stars seems to radiate from the tourbillon at 6 o’clock, gradually expanding as it reaches the outer edge of the dial. The luminescent inlaid hour markers and hands contrast sharply with the dial, with the blue dial featuring rhodium-plated hour markers and the black dial featuring rose gold-plated hour markers. In addition, like all DEFY Skyline models, the DEFY Skyline Tourbillon tourbillon watch comes with a stainless steel or black ceramic bracelet.
