At the annual celebration of the watch industry – Temporis Gala Awards, Bianchet Flying Tourbillon Grande Date was honored with the “Best New Creative Watch” award, symbolizing Bianchet’s relentless efforts and dedication to excellence in the luxury watchmaking field.

The brand was warmly celebrated by executives, celebrity watchmakers, and watch enthusiasts at the 10th Temporis International Awards ceremony held in Zurich on October 26th. At this celebration of craftsmanship and innovation, the Bianchet Flying Tourbillon Grande Date became the center of attention. This watch, which made its debut in August at the Geneva Watch Days, won the favor of the Temporis expert jury. The jury, composed of watchmaking leaders and global professional watch journalists such as Kari Voutilainen, Philippe Dufour, Romain Gauthier, Jean-Marc Wiederrecht, and Dan Vardie, highly praised its exquisite design, technological innovation, and perfect execution of traditional watchmaking techniques.

The Temporis Awards committee has established the “Best New Watch” category for the first time in 2022, aiming to recognize new brands that have pushed the boundaries of high-end watchmaking creativity. These brands must have at least five years of operating history. The judging panel conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the brand’s watchmaking creations, market performance, distribution network, and after-sales service commitment.

In addition, the selection process also incorporated the opinions of watch enthusiasts from 70 countries. Together with the judging panel, they jointly selected 13 award winners in different categories. The passion for watchmaking and the profound appreciation for genuine watch brands among these watch enthusiasts have closely connected them.

One of Bianchet’s proudest achievements is the proprietary flying tourbillon movement developed in their studio in La-Chaux-de-Fonds. This movement is made of titanium, hand-polished and assembled, and guided by the principles of the golden ratio and the Fibonacci sequence, injecting a sense of harmony and eternity into this highly modern watch design.

Bianchet founder and CEO Rodolfo Festa Bianchet said, “We are incredibly honored to be recognized as the ‘Best New Creative Watch’ by the Temporis International Watchmaking Awards. This award acknowledges our passion and dedication in creating exceptional timepieces. Our ‘Flying Tourbillon Grande Date’ represents our modern spirit and our commitment to advancing watch design and micro-mechanical technology.”

Bianchet’s “Flying Tourbillon Grande Date” features a flying tourbillon made of titanium and a skeletonized grand date complication. Both of these functions are cleverly integrated into a lubricated elliptical case made of Titanium-Dust-High-Density carbon material, showcasing the brand’s unwavering pursuit of beauty and style by seamlessly combining ancient design principles with cutting-edge watchmaking technology.
