by

Leica introduced the SL system in 2015, combining photography and videography in a unique way. Today, Leica has launched the new generation full-frame mirrorless camera – Leica SL3. The Leica SL3 is built around a full-frame back-illuminated sensor (BSI CMOS) with triple resolution technology, housed in a full metal body with elegant leather covering for protection. To meet various photography needs, the sensor can store raw files in DNG or JPEG format, supporting resolutions of 60 million, 36 million, and 18 million pixels, all with full sensor exposure in each resolution mode. The dynamic range of the Leica SL3 has expanded to 15 stops, with an ISO sensitivity range from 50 to 100,000, ensuring rich details and excellent image quality in any lighting conditions.

Another new feature of the SL3 is the foldable high-quality 3-inch HD touchscreen, which supports more viewing angles. Each upgrade is designed to provide users with a better experience, such as ergonomic design, touch and menu functions. Therefore, the handle, button layout, and overall camera design have been improved, further enhancing usability. The Leica SL3 camera is not only easy to operate, but also has a sturdy casing and IP54 protection certification, allowing photographers to focus on shooting in any weather and environment.

At the same time, compared to previous models, the new SL3 camera is lighter. Leica camera company has worked closely with photographers to elevate the SL system to a new level. It combines precision, high-quality materials, and unprecedented “Made in Germany” quality, sturdy and durable, capable of handling all kinds of shooting and photography challenges with ease. The SL3 sets a new standard for user comfort and smooth professional workflow with its expanded interface, excellent connectivity, and practical accessories. Starting today, the Leica SL3 is available for sale at all Leica boutiques worldwide, Leica’s official online store, and authorized Leica dealers, with a retail price of HK$55,500.
