The Leica SL3 is built around a full-frame back-illuminated sensor (BSI CMOS) with triple resolution technology, housed in a full metal body with elegant leather covering for protection. To meet various photography needs, the sensor can store raw files in DNG or JPEG format, supporting resolutions of 60 million, 36 million, and 18 million pixels, all with full sensor exposure in each resolution mode.
