TAG Heuer announces the launch of its first international promotional advertisement with a cinematic feel, telling the story of three Hollywood stars chasing their dreams in the nightfall of Los Angeles, celebrating the essence of the brand’s iconic TAG Heuer Carrera watch. The ad features brand ambassadors Ryan Gosling, Alexandra Daddario, and Patrick Dempsey, along with footage shot in Shanghai by the brand’s new Chinese brand ambassador, Liu Haoran, inviting everyone to witness their journey of pursuing dreams.
The ad was shot by the famous photographer Glen Luchford in the night of Los Angeles, showing three superstars racing towards their dreams in this city of dreams. Each journey embodies their courage to turn dreams into reality, as well as showcasing the iconic TAG Heuer Carrera watch. The inspiration for this watch comes from the brave drivers who participate in the infamous Carrera Panamericana road race. Every scene was shot in the night of downtown Los Angeles. Night is the moment when dreams come closest to reality, and the enchanting glow of Los Angeles at night also reflects the charm of the Carrera, a watch that not only represents the pursuit of achievement but also embodies eternal elegance. This ad continues TAG Heuer’s spirit of innovation and is another masterpiece following the mini-movie “The Chase for Carrera.” The ad also features TAG Heuer’s newly appointed Chinese brand ambassador, Liu Haoran. Liu Haoran is one of the representative figures among the young generation of actors, well-known in China for his acclaimed films such as “Legend of the Demon Cat” and “Detective Chinatown.” In the ad, Liu Haoran drives a car through the streets of Shanghai at night – while thousands of miles away from the 3 Hollywood stars, they all share the same dream under different skies.
Liu Haoran, like Gosling, wears the latest TAG Heuer Carrera chronograph watch, featuring a “Glassbox” design and a stainless steel bracelet. Each brand ambassador embodies the core values of Carrera and its racing history – the Carrera watch pays tribute to those who dare to dream and take action.
