Rémy Martin celebrates its 300th anniversary this year. To commemorate this important moment, the winery will hold a series of celebratory events with the theme of “Envisioning the Future” and launch an extraordinary cognac – the Celebration 300 Commemorative Edition, connecting the past, present, and future, showcasing the brand’s spirit of heritage over three centuries.
The limited edition celebration 300th anniversary commemorative edition of cognac is extremely rare, paying tribute to Rémy Martin’s three centuries of tradition. This special edition cognac was created by Rémy Martin’s Chief Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau, made from the “Réserve Perpétuelle” life water from the Grande Champagne region. The life water produced in the heart of the Grande Champagne region in the cognac region is renowned for its rich aroma and unique aging potential. To create this 300th anniversary commemorative edition cognac, Baptiste Loiseau drew inspiration from the essence of the 290th anniversary edition, which used the life water from the 275th anniversary edition, and added his own collection of life water from the Grande Champagne region, showcasing a heritage spirit, blending a perfect wine with harmonious elegance, establishing an intangible connection between the past and the present, embodying the visionary spirit of winemakers passing on techniques and knowledge from generation to generation. The commemorative 300th anniversary edition cognac is limited to 6,724 bottles worldwide, each with a unique number, available for sale at Watson’s Wine Cellar and various designated sales points in Hong Kong.
To commemorate this important milestone, a series of celebratory events have been gradually rolled out worldwide since January 2024, including the reopening of historic vineyards. The Rémy Martin headquarters, located in the heart of the Cognac region, has undergone several years of renovation and will reopen to the public. Starting in the spring of 2024, designated airports around the world will host the “Rémy Martin Dream Exploration” event, leading Cognac enthusiasts on an exciting journey through time. Additionally, this year’s “Rémy Martin Cocktail Competition” invites bars from around the world to participate, celebrating 300 years of cocktail culture and unparalleled creativity. The top 24 participants will advance to the global finals held in France in September.
