Art Deco has always been a signature element of Bvlgari, cleverly integrated into its innovative watchmaking techniques over the years. At the 2024 LVMH Watch Week, this characteristic not only adds grandeur to the BVLGARI BVLGARI series, complementing the dazzling jewelry elements of the Lvcea series, but also gives the Octo Finissimo a revolutionary style.
In 1975, the unique metallurgical technology conceived by BVLGARI family member Gianni Bulgari was brought to life under the pen of Swiss legendary watchmaker Gérald Genta. The name BVLGARI BVLGARI is prominently embedded on the gold-plated bezel. In celebration of its 50th anniversary, BVLGARI BVLGARI pairs yellow gold with a black dial, while rose gold shines in harmony with a silver-white dial. The diverse appearance is presented in two case sizes, each showcasing its own charm: the delicate 26mm version, and the innovative unisex 38mm version.
In 2014, the Octo Finissimo Tourbillon completely changed the watchmaking landscape: in the 8 years until 2022, the brand has set 8 records for ultra-thin design. Lvcea has always represented Bvlgari’s distinct concept of jewelry watches. This year, coinciding with the brand’s celebration of Lvcea’s 10th anniversary, elegant designs in stainless steel and gold have been recreated, including bezels and V-shaped links, surrounding intricately crafted dials made of mother-of-pearl inlay (Intarsio) or upgraded reconstructed peacock stone. With this, Bvlgari has opened a new chapter in the story of time: their creations are both precision timepieces and jewelry masterpieces.
