TAG Heuer kicks off the new year with the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph. One of the new models is inspired by the classic Dato watch, and the brand also introduces a version with the famous tourbillon movement. These two exquisite creations, featuring the signature Glassbox design of 2023 in a captivating lake green, pay tribute to TAG Heuer’s racing heritage.
The Carrera Chronograph of 2024 debuts in a new lake green version, with the calendar frame set at 9 o’clock, enriching the watch series. The design retains the classic Dato retro look, while the technology is more sophisticated – the dial design is more ergonomic, the bezel presents elegant curves, and the dial is polished with circular grooves. The watch is made of stainless steel, equipped with rhodium-plated scales and hands, along with a lake green concentric ring engraved chronograph at 3 o’clock. The watch features a sapphire crystal glass mirror named “Glassbox” for its arched curved surface, paying tribute to the hesalite crystal acrylic mirror with an arched surface design from the 1970s, which has been redesigned to seamlessly integrate with the bezel, extending along the dial all the way to the case. The innovative design of the front mirror provides the wearer with a clear and easy-to-read experience.
The latest TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon, as a captivating new member of the Carrera series, features an elegant lake green circular guilloché dial, exuding sophistication. The highlight of the watch is the tourbillon cage set within the glass frame at 6 o’clock. The 42mm diameter dial showcases the tourbillon, embodying TAG Heuer’s precision craftsmanship. The watch stays true to the Carrera series tradition, retaining the classic Glassbox design with a domed sapphire crystal glass mirror, presenting the tourbillon from different angles. The lake green flange, rhodium-plated markers, and deeply engraved concentric ring patterned chronograph surrounded by a green circular ring highlight the watch’s readability and elegance. The lake green main color of the two new models reflects TAG Heuer’s racing heritage, incorporating a nostalgic touch of the golden age of racing into the Carrera series design.
