Samsung officially announced its latest flagship smartphone series, the Galaxy S24 series, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 models, and started pre-sales in Hong Kong. This series incorporates innovative Galaxy AI artificial intelligence technology for the first time, aiming to usher in a new era of AI smartphones and provide users with a brand new mobile experience.
Ms. Yinyin Zhao, General Manager of Samsung Electronics Hong Kong, stated that Samsung has always been committed to developing high-tech smart products to bring innovative experiences to consumers. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, the first application of Galaxy AI on mobile phones provides diverse AI functions, making consumers’ daily lives more convenient.
Galaxy AI will revolutionize communication methods, such as the newly added Call Assist feature, which enables two-way real-time voice and text translation, helping users overcome language barriers and enhance global connections. At the same time, the Chat Assist feature provides suggestions for tone and style adjustments to adapt to different communication situations.
In addition, the Galaxy S24 series has also made significant improvements in terms of productivity. The Note Assist feature can effectively organize notes and improve work efficiency. The Transcript Assist feature in the Meeting Assistant can transcribe text and simplify the process of recording meetings.
The Galaxy S24 series is also equipped with the Circle to Search feature, developed in collaboration with Google, making online searches more intuitive and convenient. In addition, the ProVisual Engine and Photo Assist features greatly enhance shooting performance and photo editing capabilities.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is equipped with the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, providing powerful NPU performance to achieve AI processing. The upgrade of its screen and cooling system also brings users a better user experience.
Samsung has also made great efforts in environmental protection. The Galaxy S24 series is made with more recycled materials and has obtained UL ECOLOGO® certification, demonstrating Samsung’s commitment to environmental protection.
The Galaxy S24 series officially goes on sale in Hong Kong on January 31st, with multiple discounts available during the pre-sale period.
