To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Italian supercar brand Automobili Lamborghini, Lamborghini Hong Kong will be hosting the “Lamborghini 852 Art Car Charity Exhibition” from December 2nd to 10th at the Wan Chai Star Street showroom. The exhibition is led by renowned local street artist Alex Croft, who has created themed murals and art cars for the event, showcasing the perfect fusion of the brand and urban culture.
This exhibition brings together 59 local artists, celebrities, designers, and more from different fields, who have collaborated to create 60 1:18 scale art car models. These works will be exhibited and sold for charity at the exhibition, with the proceeds donated to the “Make-A-Wish Foundation” to support their efforts in fulfilling the wishes of critically ill children.
Alex Croft’s mural takes inspiration from Lamborghini’s Y-shaped and hexagonal geometric elements, combined with Hong Kong’s architectural features, to create a vibrant urban landscape. At the same time, he applies this design concept to the Lamborghini URUS Performante model, transforming the vehicle into a moving work of art.
To celebrate the brand’s 60th anniversary, 60 1:18 scale Revuelto model cars in all white have been specially created for artistic modification. These model cars were created by local celebrities and partners, showcasing the spirit of the brand “Brave. Authentic. Unexpected.”
One of the highlights of the exhibition is the display of the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, which is the only one in Hong Kong and limited to 112 units worldwide. It pays tribute to the classic Countach model and showcases Lamborghini’s design innovation and technological breakthroughs.
