Last year, the re-launched Leica M6 film camera is now releasing a “Leitz Camera Auction” limited edition black lacquer set this year to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the “Leitz Photographica Auction” last year.
This “Leica Camera Auction” edition black lacquer set includes a Leica M6 camera and a Noctilux-M 50 f/1.2 ASPH. lens, both of which are coated in black lacquer. Despite the entire camera having a black lacquer finish, the body features a pure gold Leitz logo, which is specially crafted by a goldsmith from Wetzlar, Germany, and is accompanied by walnut wood accents, gold and red engraved patterns, further enhancing the collectible value of this camera.
In addition to the eye-catching logo, the quantity of the “Leica Camera Auction” edition black lacquer set has also become a focus of attention for many collectors, as only 20 sets are available worldwide, making it very precious. In addition to the camera and lens, the set also includes one lens cap, one body cap, and one lens hood, all with the same black lacquer finish, as well as one black custom leather strap and one genuine certificate. As a precious limited edition camera, it is exclusively sold at the Leica Camera Classics store in Austria.
