Music has always been one of Dolce & Gabbana’s sources of inspiration, and they often collaborate with musicians. Recently, the brand announced that they have appointed Doyoung (Kim Do-young), a member of the K-Pop boy band NCT, as their brand ambassador for Japan and Korea.
K-Pop boy group NCT, who debuted 5 years ago, has seen a rapid rise in popularity in recent years. Their four music videos have surpassed 100 million views, making them the hottest boy group in South Korea after BTS. Doyoung, one of the members, has been expanding his global influence and his recent song “Perfume” has set a new record for the highest first-week sales for a K-Pop group.
Being able to become a member of the Dolce&Gabbana family, Doyoung feels deeply honored. He said, “The strong connection with the brand makes me look forward to more collaborations in the future, exploring the abundant creativity together.”
