Lamborghini has already announced that it will enter the era of electrification. This year marks the brand’s 60th anniversary, and the first V12 high-performance plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (HPEV) with the codename LB744 will be unveiled on March 29th (March 30th, 01:00 Hong Kong time). This not only takes the driving experience to another peak but also represents a historic new chapter for the brand.

Lamborghini

One of the main features of the LB744 is its new hybrid power system, which includes the brand’s iconic 6.5-liter V12 engine, combined with a 3.8kWh battery module and three electric motors, providing up to 1,015CV power output. Due to the use of the hybrid system, Lamborghini has also announced the driving modes for the vehicle.

When the battery is depleted, the V12 engine will start the charging mode and fully charge the battery in just a few minutes. If you want to hear the roar, you can choose the Strada mode, which has a power output of 886CV, but the overall output is suitable for daily driving or long trips. Of course, if you want to further control the LB744, switch to Sport mode, which will provide a power output of 907CV and the transmission response will become more aggressive. As for Corsa, it completely unleashes the exhilarating driving experience provided by the 1,015CV performance.
