A.P.C. has recently been collaborating with different brands, and has now teamed up for the first time with the renowned Japanese sportswear brand Asics to launch the new ASICS GEL-SONOMA 15-50 x A.P.C collaborative collection.
The shoes are personally designed by Jean Touitou, the founder and creative director of A.P.C., combining French minimalism. The collection is available in black, beige, and blue, with contrasting blue-dyed shoelaces and loops, and a transparent material made into the classic Asics tiger claw logo, subtly showcasing individuality. The collaborative original logos are located on the lace buckle and heel, ingeniously replacing the “A” of A.P.C. with the ASICS spiral logo, embodying the philosophy of both brands that “the devil is in the details.”
In terms of functionality, the shoes incorporate GEL cushioning, as well as breathable and sweat-absorbing OrthoLite insoles and a highly grippy AHAR rubber outsole, adding to the comfort when wearing them.
